Jason T. Ransdell, O. D.
Originally from northern Minnesota, Dr. Jason T. Ransdell earned his B.S. in Microbiology from Colorado State University before graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry in May, 2001.
Dr. Jason is a competitive mountain biker and triathlete when he isn't seeing patients. He recently completed his third Leadville 100 mountain bike race and completed the 2010 Ironman Arizona. Dr. Jason also enjoys downhill skiing and SCUBA diving. Drs. Jason and Tara also keep busy keeping up with their 7 year old daughter Jordan, who is a firecracker in her own right.
Dr. Jason worked at a local laser center for 4 years before joining the practice. He brings extensive knowledge about Lasik and cataract surgery to the practice. Dr. Jason also performs routine eye examinations for glasses and contacts, as well as the treatment of most eye diseases and infections.
Dr. Jason lectures in the western United States on dry eye treatment, and is a consultant to Allergan and Inspire Pharmaceuticals.
